About Mike Shaw
EVEN TIGERS LOVE REIKI
Seen here with Mohan, Mike has been on a relentless quest to understand the meaning of the Universe since his own near death out of body experiences after a serious accident in 1966. Mike has a background in executive management, the health industry and as a business owner. He was also a former Director of Education for the NSW Ambulance Service. A member of the Services medical advisory committee and has been a member of select government committees of inquiry.
Apart from his clinical studies in conventional medicine, Mike has studied with Shaman Healers around the world. He is the author of Even Tigers Love Reiki, When Cancer Strikes and Reiki and Cancer and co-author with Mary Shaw of For the Love of Reiki and Isis Seichim. He has been interviewed on talk back radio and is the author of numerous magazine and newspaper articles.
Mike believes very much in the oneness theory referred to by scientists as non-locality. Once people can understand and accept the idea that everything we can see, touch or feel is part of the whole. Then it becomes so much easier to achieve inner peace and to change your life.
Mike who has over twenty five years experience as a Reiki Master/Teacher and Practitioner firmly believes that :
Unresolved emotional conflict is the No 1 cause of and a major barrier to a permanent reversal of most disease states and a barrier to personal and spiritual development.
Reiki is a powerful tool to be used in breaking down these barriers through unconditional love.
